Livio AI
Livio AI included the world’s first custom rechargeable hearing aid and the first to feature sensors and artificial intelligence. This enables the Healthable technology that aims to give you a deeper understanding of the connection between your hearing and your overall health.
Healthable works by using 3D motion sensors and the Thrive® Hearing Control app to monitor how, when and where you use your hearing aids, and track your brain and body activity to give you a Wellness Score. The data collected by your Livio AI can then be integrated with other wellbeing apps such as Google Fit and Apple Health. Your hearing aids can even detect if you’ve had a fall and alert a relative or carer so they can help
Mask Mode – making social distancing and mask-wearing easier
Evolv AI and Livio AI offer Mask Mode on selected models through the Thrive® Hearing Control app. Mask Mode has been specially designed to boost speech clarity when people are wearing masks, so it’s easier to understand them.
Evolv AI and Livio Edge AI have Edge Mode for masks, which you can activate with a simple tap of your hearing aids. The technology automatically optimises for social distancing, amplifying sounds to account for people standing 1-2 metres away. In addition, the custom-moulded hearing instruments won’t fall out or get tangled up when you put on or remove your mask, reducing the risk of loss or damage.

Thrive® Hearing Control app
Take control of your Starkey hearing aids using your smart phone with the Hearing Control app. Compatible with most Apple and Android devices, you can use it to adjust your hearing aids’ volume, activate Healthable features such as brain and body tracking and Fall Alerts, and enable Mask Mode.
You can even create customised geotagged memories such as ‘coffee shop’ or ‘home’, which programme your devices to remember your preferred settings in these environments. Hearing Control also lets you schedule reminders for tasks such as taking medication. Intelligent Assistant offers a host of useful features such as Find my Hearing Aids, Siri Integration and Self Check, which helps you analyse your hearing aids’ performance.
Thrive® Care app
Exclusive to Evolv AI and Livio Edge AI, Thrive® Care works alongside Thrive® Hearing Control to provide an extra layer of reassurance whilst helping you retain your confidence and independence. You can choose to share certain information with selected people, such as your physical activities, hearing aid usage and social engagements. It’s up to you what information you share, and who with.
Thrive® Care is easy to set up and use, and lets you connect with multiple caregivers to share information and send notifications flexibly and securely. It’s compatible with Apple devices running iOS 12 or later and Android systems with 6.0 or higher.
